This has always been an issue and has never worked since I've gotten the laptop a few months ago. Sound Settings - Playback: Sound Settings - Recording: I can hear audio through the headset, but my computer does not recognize that the headset has a microphone, and instead uses the laptop's internal mic, as seen here.
